Natasha Richardson Dies

Great sadness. Actress Natasha Richardson has died from her injuries sustained during a skiing accident. She was 45 years old. Our condolences go out to her husband, actor Liam Neeson; their sons Micheál and Daniel; and the rest of their family and friends.

Ms. Richardson was a trustee for a very worthy charity, amfAR. If you've been thinking about donating, this might be a good cause and time.

Extreme Sheepherding

This is probably faked out the wazoo. And it certainly is an ad, intended to go viral. But just the fact that someone thought of it, and they went to the trouble to make it look legit, is pretty darn cool.

Assembly Line Concert Update

So there's this benefit concert coming up. At least 12 days long, 24/7 (it's also a legit attempt to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest continuous concert), to help those of us affected by the troubles of the Big 3 automakers. Here in Southeastern Michigan, that's ultimately everybody.

I'm in. Tuesday, March 31, 9:00-10:00 a.m., at AJ's Music Cafe on 9 Mile Road in Ferndale. If you can be there, it would be fantastic.
