A bit o'history now folks...Listen and learn as Weaver Craig and Seeger Chris spin a tale o'woe and dependence on the "machine". That small boiler-room PO Box will never be the same since that awful day. Lyrics by Craig Marks/vocals, acoustic guitar and acoustic bass by Chris Mezzolesta.

It makes a nice side dish for A Song About A Train, it does. Too bad you couldn't figure out a way to work a Kent Hovind reference in there.

Hmmm, a new folk song by Power Salad...from the song description above it looks like were in for one steely-stringed, Americana treat! And I love the fact that acoustic bass is getting some props here....it seems hardly anyone plays bass anymore without an amplifyer and electricity. I cannot wait to hear this!

I was also going to say, Craig and Chris...if you want to do another folk song about a fire, how about the trad. Irish drinking song "The Old Dun Cow"? Just a little friendly suggestion here from a Celtic DJ to a comedy group.

Macintire!! Oh, wait, this song uses a different tune. It's good, though. :-)

Cute song, Salad, and certainly more engaging then a key-note speaker. I now name Chris Mezzolesta and Craig Marks valedictorians of the FuMP class of 2008!

The description looks like Craig Marks also does vocals.

I don't guess I have ever listened to a song on the FUMP in a timely manner. I just heard "The Fire At The Old Diploma Mill" and the part about "it must be a million degrees in there" almost brought coffee out of my nose. And I was drinking MILK! This is why I listen to the fump. Thank you.
