| Project Sisyphus |
The Emo Girl's Favorite Things |
As musicians, we at Sisyphus have fairly broad and ecumenical tastes when it comes to style or genre; there's few we intensely dislike. If we had to really think about it, though, we pretty much hate musical theater. Oh, and that awful Emo crap our kid plays.
Which led us to the idea: what if there were a way to combine the two, creating unprecedented levels of musical atrocity?
And so a song was born. A parody of My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music, it features teen hunk Taylor Dexter in a role he will later make excuses for. He was young. He needed the work.

I adored this song! I think I've heard it before, Myspace perhaps? But It totally made me squee. I have a twisted fascination with emo kids. |

Thanks all. We'd actually wanted to bring this song to the FuMP some time ago, but other artists kept releasing "Emo"-themed songs that were just way too good, like the Waffles. Knarf, I gotta tell that one to my daughter. |

Project Sisyphus rules. "Would you like the idea of Bach done as a hoedown? Coldplay performing the Chicken Dance at a wedding?" Yes! Cough it up, Bob. |
