Nice work, buddy. The added SFX are great, and I especially like the additional vocals.

Very nice song! It could be a wedding song if the bride has a sense of humor.

So *THIS* explains your Livejournal this week. Wow.

Seriously, this is my favorite song by you, Luke. I kinda want to play it at my wedding.

Wow, Luke... this is a really great song. I think this is my favorite song of yours to date also. Touching yet funny... awesome man.

....and this song is my favorite of all the Luke Ski fumps I've ever heard! Bravo, encore, pass the pop-corn, more! (insert sound of hands clapping). This song here was by-far your best vocal performance to date, and it reminded me a bit of Frank Zappa's "Any Kind of Pain". You the man.

My lawyer will be delivering the inter-continental restraining order to your home. I'll be in Brazil. :) Seriously, I love it, and it's the sweetest thing I've ever heard.

You know, I tried calling my wife a "Blazing Saddles campfire fart" and somehow she just didn't seem to take it as a compliment.

SHOEBOX (many years ago): Dammit, Luke, you're great at stringing together mass numbers of geek references in lyrically dense, clever, and unexpected ways, but your best songs are the ones where you put some of your genuine flippin' emotion into 'em and let 'em flow.
LUKE (today): *this song*

I guess my point is either that this is one of the best songs you've ever done, or that I take full credit for it. :)

And I can't believe you're the first person to ever use "Blazing Saddles campfire fart" as a term of endearment.

a most excellent song, Luke.

"Ghostbusters" reference FTW! XD

DJ Particle - Oct 2, 2008

I saved the best Bleeding Edge for last this week, Luke! ;) Great song!

ProjectSisyphus - Oct 2, 2008

Poignant, well-crafted and funny

chewy's brother - Oct 7, 2008

Excellent compilation of references, good tune, superb sentiment. I like it!

Knarf - Oct 10, 2008

A clever Beavis and Butthead joke. I never thought I'd see the day. On another note: Does this remind anyone else of Don McLean?

Oh no! A luke ski song without a doctor who reference!!! Oh, the horror... JK! This song was excellent! I too enjoyed the "Blazing Saddles" reference. Keep 'em comin', GLS!

Spaff.com - Oct 29, 2008

Out of all the love songs I've ever heard, this is the Blazing Saddles campfire fart-est of them all.
