It's not the length that matters...

Good song. I used to work at a mall, I dreaded this time of year (the customers and the extra long work hours)

Excellent!! (And you won't see me anywhere near a mall on Black Friday ... especially at 4 a.m.)
carlau - Nov 29, 2008
dark man. it's actually prophetic. who knew a guy would actually get trampled to death at walmart when you were recording this?
ProjectSisyphus - Nov 30, 2008
A delightful ode to the crass commercialism of the season! Nice job Luke.
squirreludecker - Dec 1, 2008
how prophetic, some of this song came true! namely the employee who got trampled in a walmart cause he was trying to open the doors for the store opening to start the sale, and was stampeeded on by a 2000+ person croud. they even were pushing around the cops and paramedics who were trying to help him.

Wife's working retail this season. She cracked up on "Whatever we have in stock." I guess she related to the anonymous clerk.

Hey, congratz on getting Mischke airplay!!!
seamonkey - Dec 1, 2008
Although I got MY Black Friday deals online at 2 AM and then slept in, I feel THIS is the NEW Christmas tradition to be celebrated in song! Thanks, Luke!!
(Incidentally, I want a Luke Ski singing doll for Christmas....)

Pretty good, to me it seams like it should have been a little longer though.
