Britney Spears, always a media target, is now a target here on the FuMP. Carrie Dahlby lampoons the 'pop tart' in a parody of 'Dear Prudence' by the Beatles. Vocals, lyrics, keyboards and hand clapping by Carrie Dahlby, drums and tambourine by Jared Ringold of Possible Oscar, high guitar, main guitar, lead guitar, and bass guitar all by Carrie's father Michael Haselman. In a tradition set by Guns N Roses and their Don't Cry song, head to the Sideshow to hear a version of the song with alternate lyrics, and also with a slightly different instrumental mix.

Great song and quite funny ! Are you going to compile all your beatle parodies into one CD sometime later ?
Derwood Bowen - Nov 23, 2007
Yeah, there seems to be a common trend of Beatles parodies on the FuMP. I think this makes 4 now? Great work though!

This is superb, Carrie. Awesome vocals again combined with dead-on musicianship from the likes of PossCar and your Dad. Ummn...Oops, you did it again? How do you do it?
