Once upon a time, the soundtracks of high-visibility Hollywood melodramas would include a romantic ballad known as the "love theme," as in "Love Theme From The Godfather," "Love Theme From Romeo And Juliet," and "Love Theme From The Texas Chainsaw Massacre." Typically, these songs were overly emotional and corny in the extreme, satisfying America's voracious appetite for wedding reception music.

I don't think the intro was necessary, but I love the idea. I'd love to see things like "Love Theme From Caligula" and "Love Theme From The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."
