A few weeks ago, we lost a Monkee named Davy Jones. As tragic as this is, it allows another Davy Jones, who changed his name when the Monkees became world-famous, to finally let his light shine fully.
I'm referring, of course, to David Bowie, who was born David Robert Jones.
In the spirit of this under-appreciated artist's second chance at greatness, I present this song which I originally released in 2002. It's been remixed, remastered, and generally made slightly more listenable.
Oh, and Betty Rubble would have turned one billion years old today, had she lived. Really... her remains have been carbon-dated, and she was born April 6, 999,997,988 BC.
Lyrics: SG and Jeff Kobal
Guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, percussion, vocals, and production: SG
Sound effects and voices: Burpo, Maria Menozzi, and SG
