In "A Visit From the great Luke Ski" on Insane Ian's "The Last Arcade", Luke proposes a Huey Lewis parody about Q*bert called "It's Hip to Jump on Squares". When hearing Luke talk about it on the FuMPcast, Kyle got the idea of removing both necessary contexts from the song, and just working with what the title sounds like it means: The worst trend ever. Special thanks to Dave Stagner of the Feng Shui Ninjas for graciously contributing some garage-rockin' guitars!

I retroactively inspired this song by association! Therefore I enjoy it! Also it is damn catchy and good. Damn your earworms, Kyle!

On the next FuMPcast, I shall say "Luke Ski is the awesomest guy ever" and hope that inspires yet another Kyle song. Until then, I enjoy this one! Yaaay! :D

Thanks for having me play on this! I'm kind of amazed you kept those noisy surrealist fuzz lead parts. :)

I love when you guys do meta stuff that works without knowing the inside joke, but works so much better when you know the hidden punchline. FuMP for the win.

As a confirmed square, I find this song painful.
