For a long time I've been hearing about "bronies," adult men who watch My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic. I actually know a couple. But for some reason I never tried watching the show.
Fast forward to one of my Kickstarter campaigns where I offered to record songs on any topic for a certain amount of money and one of the guys who pledged at that level wanted a song about My Little Pony. So guess what I had to watch?
And you know what? It's a freakin' fantastic show. I haven't actually seen all of it yet, but I will eventually.

As the parent of a 7-year-old girl, I have seen MLP, so nice job! But to paraphrase David Seville, that was very good, Blythe. Uh, Devo, you were a little flat. Watch it.

Of course you do this after I've grown out of watching it! But still fun to see someone else get hooked once in a while!

In the past, well done songs like this one about a tv show or movie which I am not that familiar have led me to start watching it.
