As I continue to embrace my geezerhood, new song ideas keep popping up.
Some of you youngsters might not remember Petula Clark and Downtown. It's a great old song... which I have now ruined.

As someone who could not stand the original song and might have to deal with the same situation in 4-5 years (hopefully), I really enjoyed this.

Now this is scary ... I actually still have the Petula Clark "Downtown" 45-rpm record! And this geezer loves your parody of it, Mr. Goodie!! Yet another masterpiece!!

really funny stuff, as always. And fun being a small part of it, as always.

I was hoping that you were parodying this downtown instead of some weird thing by lil suzie I've never heard of. I guess I can count on the geezer.

At first, I thought that this wasn't going to have any staying power, but it got me giggling pretty quick. and then you took that turn where you start riffing on how kids don't want to think about their parents having sex. Then I just lost it.

You've done it again, Steve! Possibly a more elaborate sequel to the Urban Dictionary song from late 2015. I like how you pulled this off while still keeping the language radio-friendly; it's always nice when people do that, though I enjoy a good Worm Quartet song every now and then. The FuMP is the funniest site, but that shouldn't be surprised knowing it came from a group of artists played on Dr. Demento. Fabulous!
