Well, gosh... everyone expects me to write about nothing but the PEEOTUS for the next four years... but there is SO much else to write about! Like, for example, the fact that we lost so many beloved artists in 2016. So here's a song about both things, and how they might be tied together.
Music: David Bowie
Lyrics: SG
Guitars, bass, drums, percussion, vocals, arrangement, production: SG
Saxophone: James Bass
Backup vocals: Kathy Redwine and Hollie Brogunier
Unwitting voice-over: John Cleese and Donald Drumpf
Helpful feedback and ideas: Kiki Canon, Thom Abell, and Carla Ulbrich

Decades from now people (if the human race still exists) can look at this song to summarize 2016. Excellent work.

Well done!! It is scary and knew the song being parodied even before I listened to it or read the song page here.

Y'know, I never THOUGHT of it that way. Maybe we thought that, with all the celebs dying, the world was going to hell anyway so...why not elect the best possible person to TAKE us there?! Well done, Mr. Goodie!

I think every comedy artist has had the line "I read fake news today, oh boy" percolating for the last few weeks at least - congrats on getting it down for posterity! Fab job all around.
