If we're still talking about our personal least-favorite Weird Al songs, I've got to put in for "Party At The Leper Colony." Everything that "Bob" gets right—the classic rock riff underlying a collection of slightly used material—this one gets wrong. Bo Diddley it ain't.

Thanks to Ian for telling us what "Hardware Store" was an homage to. I remember an interview where Al mentioned it started life as a style parody of someone, but wouldn't say whom. Now, the much-beloved bridge takes a big bite from "Life Is A Rock (But The Radio Rolled Me)" by Reunion, which you can hear here:
