Lauren Mayer

Lauren is a satirical songwriter who has been around so long, some of her earlier songs were played on The Dr. Demento Show before the internet. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Yale, a 5-time recipient of the San Francisco Cabaret Gold Award, and the writer-producer-performer for several albums of comedy songs, including Psycho Super Mom, Return of Psycho Super Mom, Latkes, Shmatkes, and the soon-to-be-released "If My Uterus Were A Gun (And Other Musical Rants From The News)." She has also provided custom comedy for corporate meetings, fundraisers, conventions and private parties, including Wells Fargo, Hewlett-Packard, and the California Association of Funeral Directors, among others, as well as writing several published children's musicals, plays, and educational songs. And for the past 2 years she has written a brand new song every week, based on current events, recorded it and created a video for her youTube channel. She is a card-carrying Jewish mother who secretly hopes for a gay son (so he'll never leave me for another woman.)
