Lyrics for Mad Men World

#MadWorld meets #MadMen
That's the Twitter version. Here's the non-ADHD version:
Season 5 of AMC's Mad Men premieres Sunday night after a hiatus of nearly a year and a half. Hallelujah.
The song used in Mad Men's opening title sequence is an edited version of RJD2's backing track for Aceyalone's "A Beautiful Mine," which samples percussion from Bernard "Pretty" Purdie's "Heavy Soul Slinger" and strings from Enoch Light's "Autumn Leaves," which is a cover of Joseph Kosma's "Les Feuilles Mortes."
"Mad World," meanwhile, was written by Roland Orzabal for Tears for Fears, but its biggest success came from an arrangement by Michael Andrews with vocals by Gary Jules for the movie Donnie Darko, and then Adam Lambert's cover of their cover introduced the song to a whole new audience via American Idol.
Got all that?
So this is a Mad Men-themed mashup of "A Beautiful Mine" with a parody of "Mad World." And, given all of the above, it will likely result in our getting letters from twelve different attorneys. Who all will be mad.
