This song submitted by 'the great Luke Ski' is his studio cover version of 'My Name Is Not Merv Griffin' by Gary Muller. The original version of 'Merv' was one of the runners-up in the Dr. Demento Novelty Song Contest sponsored and administered by Songwriters Resources and Services in 1981-82, and was later released on the vynil LP 'Demento's Momentos', now a comedy music collectors item. Luke performed this song at the MarsCon 2007 Dementia Smackdown concert, with background music and vocals courtesy of Chris Mezzolesta of Power Salad, myspace.com/powersalad.
