Written by longtime game developer John C. Ardussi, the song is the title track from Perky Pete & The Mechanics’ debut album and part of the musical world of the comedy series in development Game Mechanics.

Its roots are from a Dr Demento played song, "All I Wanna Do Is Drink Beer", 40 some years ago. To get the whole story, check out the podcast.

Welcome to the FuMP, John! I found Michael Steven Peace’s “All I Wanna Do Is Drink Beer” on YouTube, but like Gavin, I can’t find it in the dmdb.org search. Mike Peace has other songs listed, however. Maybe you had his album…? Paging Jeff Morris!

Maybe I got it wrong. He has other songs that include bumpers from the Dr Demento show on YouTube. I heard it somewhere in the 80s. I may have projected that it was on the show. I'll ask him. Here is his Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/michael.peace.37 He would love to hear from fans.

Yeah. It is amazing how being rediscovered has brought him out. He is posting memories on Facebook almost daily. He has been through a lot. I am glad I can be a positive energy for him. It is amazing how much positive can come from a thumbs up on a video.
