Nuclear Bubble Wrap's Jace McLain suggested that a new kids' CD was overdue from me. On our way to and from MarsCon in March, we discussed several new song ideas, and now we've collaborated a bit and some of the recordings are complete. I can't tell you any more about that -- it's all very hush-hush top-secret. Shhhhh...

Okay, I'm pretty sure I can safely tell you that the CD is due out in November. That's all I'm telling you. A great many of the new songs will be Harry-themed, but a few will not. I'd like to share one of the non-Pots with you now.

All right, I've checked with my lawyer, and I can tell you the name of the new CD. It'll be called "Something To Sneeze At... Steve Goodie's Greatest Kids' Hits vol. 2"

With a title like "Something To Sneeze At," it seemed imperative that at least one song be phlegm-related. I remembered a song written in '01 with my pal Burpo, and now it's getting a re-master and a little edit-to remove the overt Silence Of The Lambs references that parents don't seem too fond of. Good old Burpo is working on the CD cover art. And my step-kids think this is the funniest song I've ever made.

This song has no four-letter words in it, no violence or sex or anything deemed "adult"... but still it is the nastiest thing I have ever conceived, let alone completed. I believe it may be the first kids' song on The FuMP that qualifies not only as EXPLICIT, but as SQUICK.

The important thing to remember is: this is all Jace's fault.
