Oh god... an idea for another DAMN Harry Potter song struck my brain a couple weeks ago, and I couldn't make it go away. Sorry. This would have made SO much more sense five years ago.
In my defense, I can only say that I had yet to write a decent "Final Battle" song for the series... and now I have. Spoilers galore... be warned!!
And to up the annoyance factor, this is a parody of an Elvis Costello song which I'm sure nobody remembers. You can refresh your lack of memory here.
To sum up: in order to enjoy this song, you have to be a total Potter-geek AND a fan of late 70s punk/new-wave synth-driven pop-crap. Good luck with that.

I'm of the fringe demographic that remembers the Elvis Costello song but gets none of the Harry Potter references. Sorry. The "ridiculous piano" is, however, spot on.

That's okay, Steve, I'm older than dirt so I appreciate how wonderful this is. BTW, to improve your Elvis Costello impression, try smoking eight cigars, or screaming for 12 minutes, before recording your vocals.
