Two of my favorite people, Frank Zappa and Harry Potter, have never met. That's mostly 'cause one's dead and one's fictional. Very frustrating.
So I brought them together at last on last year's kids' CD, Something To Sneeze At, which you should definitely buy. Frank and Harry [and Ginny] seem to be getting along pretty well.
Lyrics, instruments, vocals, production: SG
Ginny's, like, voice: Alison Larkin

This is AMAZINg. Seriously one of favorite tracks about anything ever. I love FZ and I love HP so this makes my brain so very happy.

Great parody!! (And this is coming from a guy that has never read a Harry Potter book and has never seen one of the movies!) I'm sure that I would have enjoyed it even more if I had. (Maybe I should educate myself in this area ...)

*applauds* That was excellent!! It is hard to parody Zappa and you nailed it!!

I only read the 1st couple books & seen 1st 2 movies but I really like this song as well mrwompy even thou I don't quite get it. I just remembered that I still have that extra copy of Something To Sneeze At from the preorder delay. I should give it to my girlfreind because she's a big HP fan & it would be great if I could get her into comedy music

There's something extremely unsettling about Valley Girl speak with a British accent.

@ladyomniscience~ I actually think that sounds kinda cute. I'm not rite

Fun Fact: Alison Larkin, who does the voice of Ginny in this song, was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was adopted as a baby by a British couple, and raised in England. So, though her accent is authentically British, she is in reality a Tennessee Valley Girl. Click here if you don't believe me. :)

Magnificient Steve and Alison, simply marvelous. I hope this doesn't give anything away for The Deathly Hallows, Pt. 2, but it's great to see Zappa's music being kept alive through the magic and grace of a parody/tribute.
