True Story. I was practicing guitar. My neighbors kept complaining about my guitar playing, even though it was terrific, so I had the TV on to drown out my playing. Of course I didn't have cable, so there were only 2 stations to pick from, and on that evening my choices were a dating show and a test pattern. Tough choice, but I went with the dating show. I looked up from my pentatonic scales to see a guy I knew on that dating show. And the rest, as they say, is song fodder. This version was recorded in Nashville in 1998, before I recorded my 1st CD, and was never released. We just found this version on a cassette. Pretty hot band. I'm not in it. Despite my great guitar skills... that's me singing, tho.

Dammit Carla, I thought we agreed that we would NOT be talking about this in public. You'll be hearing from my attorney. (But seriouly... you are forever hilarious... great song! Now I want to hear some scales...)

That was absolutely fantastic! It was so much different than anything I've heard on here in a long while. Great job. I love this one.

OK, the 320 link should work now. Carla left some spaces in the file name.

Absolutely fabulous! Incredible music, and I totally LOVE that it's a true story. Beautiful. I spent many hours watching that show as a youngin, so I probably saw him on there.
