From about the moment I heard Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo, I wanted to make a parody of it. But I was in a bit of a creative slump last year, and nothing with much potential came to mind. Eventually, not sure how, "Please tell me why no one's stopped that man-spider" entered my thoughts. And I was still in too much of a slump to do anything about it. But eventually I ended up taking a musical comedy writing class to try to get the juices flowing, and that ended up giving me the kick I needed to turn that one line into a full song about how mad J Jonah Jameson gets regarding the web-slinging superhero.

I think it turned out pretty well.
