Back in 2010 when I put out my "Greatest Hits Volume 1" 2-CD set, I remade a couple of past songs of mine that I felt needed an upgrade. Not appearing on that collection was my parody of the Onyx song "Slam" which I did about food in general titled "Spam (Let The Pork Be Pork)". This track was first created in 1996 very early in my song-making years, and I had a couple of other members of my comedy music group which I called "Psycho Potpourri" (aka my friends who I badgered into doing silly songs with me) join me on the rap vocals. When I performed it way back when the crowds loved it, but 20 years later it fell through the cracks, and it's nagged at me the past few years that I didn't give it the spiffed-up remake treatment in 2010. So when Devo Spice asked me if I'd bring back some of my old "Psycho Potpourri" days material for the "Before They Were Now" concert at FuMPFeST 2016, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to call maestro Bonecage, have a new backing track made, and get my frequent nerdcore cohorts Insane Ian and Devo Spice to breathe some life into this packaged salted meat product of a parody tune. You can get this along with 59 other awesome hilarious live funny tracks on the "FuMPFeST 2016" live 2-CD set available now in the FuMP store, with all proceeds going to help fund FuMPFeST 2017.

...also, the irony of having Devo Spice sing the line about Peanut Butter Crunch when he himself is allergic to peanuts is pretty great.

Thanks for the update on your song. We need a revival of old school style rap parodies of songs from the 90s.

YAAAAAAAY! Before I even knew of Luke Ski, friends of mine were singing the chorus of this song. So thrilled to have been a part of the "remake" of it at FuMPFeST!
