Paul and Storm, two men who aren't afraid to ask such hard hitting questions as 'Where's Poochie?', have returned to the FuMP with their piratey fan favorite, 'The Captain's Wife's Lament', recorded live at MarsCon 2008.
This is an excerpt from the MarsCon 2009 Dementia Track Fund Raiser CD sets, which we release every year to help our budget-less track pay for the hotel accommodations of several of the comedy music acts that travel from all across the country to the Twin Cities to perform at MarsCon each year. The discs play as a chronological best-of sampling of just some of the 9 hours worth of funny music concerts and programming that happened there over the 3 day weekend last March. If you'd like to help support the track by picking up a set for yourself, and to find out all about the upcoming 2009 convention in March, go to MarsCon Dementia Dot Com.
'The Captain's Wife's Lament' was originally released on Paul and Storm's album 'Gumbo Pants', which you can purchase at Paul And Storm Dot Com. You should also subscribe to their PodCast, called Paul and Storm Talk About Some Stuff for Five to Ten Minutes On Average.

It's astonishing to think that as awesome as this song is, it's only a fraction of the total awesome of that set, which in turn was a mere sliver of the total awesome that was MarsCon 2008. Get. Your. Asses. There. 2009. No excuses accepted!
