"All good things come to an end." I really despise that saying, but I'm afraid it's undeniable. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way as the Good Doctor (with the help of Jeff Morris) puts together his final two shows. The Doctor Demento Show has been a hugely important part of my life since I first tuned in back in the 1970s, under the covers on a Sunday night when I was supposed to be asleep. His devotion to all things musical and to all things silly had never been (and will never be) equaled. Thank you, Barret Hansen, for everything you've dedicated your life to.
And another thank you, Doctor, for playing (and premiering) this song as part of your penultimate broadcast on October 4, 2025. I didn't think I'd ever get another new song on your show, but you and Jeff squeezed this in, and I really appreciate it!
And speaking of Jeff... Jeff Morris kindly and patiently worked with me on this while in the midst of the busiest period imaginable. Huge thanks to you Jeff, for all you do in the name of deeeeeeeeeemented music!

Don't worry, Steve. There's still my show's year-end Wacked-Out 40 to look forward to. Still gonna be surreal if you guys mention it at the end of the year in your e-mail updates.

Hey A-Log. Can you keep posting on Mad Music
A-Log - Oct 7, 2025
I will, once they fix their glitch issues with uploading the playlists while uploading shows. Long story. But I still appreciate the love here. BTW, I've noticed your comment saying that you do songs as well. Is that correct?

You need to hear it more than once to fully enjoy the funny words . But I think I can say Without a doubt that we all share the exact same feelings as u do in the song. Except for one thing. I ‘m not going out out tomorrow to buy an “automatic circumciser “at the Hardware store. . Great string arrangement by Tim Lorsch and nice production by Steve. Jeff Morris we appreciate u more than you know. . We all feel kinna sad about The Dr D show retiring. But he deserves to hang up his hat after 55 years . It does not mean artists will stop writing funny songs. “The FUMP” like Dr D is a wonderful platform.for artists and fans who love funny music. . But the funny songs are there in the archives. and on others podcasts too. Thanks for letting me be a little part of this with the others. PS ( stands for p…s snippers. Don’t forget to get a bottle of rubbing alcohol at the Hardware store when u buy that thing. .

I am upset about it. I wish I started submitting songs before.
