I wrote this parody because it seemed like there weren't any Old Town Road parodies with Whac-A-Mole as the subject. As a child in the '80s and early '90s I enjoyed going to Showbiz Pizza Place and watching the animatronic band, The Rock-afire Explosion, and playing games such as Whac-A-Mole. I suppose this song is in reference to that. Fun fact: Both the Rock-afire Explosion animatronic band and Whac-A-Mole were created by the same person, Aaron Fechter.
