Robert Lund has assaulted radio listeners for several decades with hundreds (thousands?) of song parodies. Radio legend Dr. Demento called Robert "one of the 21st Century's most skilled and prolific parody performers." The Salt Lake Tribune named him "Utah's king of the song parody."

In the early aughts, award-winning* lyricist M. Spaff Sumsion (aka Spaff.com) started spamming Robert with his parody lyrics. The pair's collaborations have since wound up all over virtual and terrestrial radio, from Morning Zoos to YouTube tributes to NPR. During the last two decades of the Dr. Demento Show, the good doctor frequently featured their songs, playing quite a number of them. (Final tally: 69, which is, ahem, quite a number.)

Spaff.com Presents The Best of Robert Lund is the definitive collection of Robert and Spaff's work together. It includes the viral sensation "99 Words for Boobs," additional Dr. Demento hits "I Got Crabs from Darth Vader" (29 shows!) and "Save Me, Obama" (his #1 song of 2009), Amiright.com's Song of the Year "Shakespearean Pie," and over a dozen more. It boasts liner notes by Dr. Demento himself and includes two different CD covers (one by the great Luke Ski).

Elves Gone Wild! is a collection of a decade's worth of Robert Lund Christmas parodies (and a few non-holiday bonus tracks). Its 20 songs (13 with lyrics by Spaff) include perennial Dr. Demento favorites "I Want Some Plastic Surgery for Christmas" and "Police Nabbed My Dad" and the FuMP song "Nuttin' But Spam." "Twelve Utah Christmases" and Robert's cover of "Ding! Fries Are Done" are holiday staples on Utah radio. Mistletunes.com ranks the album "right up there with Bob Rivers' comedy classics."

Workin' the Glory is a tribute to all things bright and Utah-ful. Among its 17 song parodies (14 written by Spaff) are "Man! I Feel Like a Mormon!," "Living in the Maternity Ward" (a parody of "Material Girl"), and the Salt Lake Tribune-featured "A Few of the Testimonies." The album also includes "Give a Talk at the Fireside" (a parody of the unholy "Walk on the Wild Side"), with which, according to the usually snarky Salt Lake City Weekly, "Robert Lund hits a referential homer."

Politicked Off! is a collection of songs for those who love (or love to hate) politics. Its 15 parodies (11½ by Spaff) include seven that have aired on the Dr. Demento Show, including the "Funny Five" hits "Iranian Uranium," "Here I Am with President Romney," and "My Men's Room Date's a Senator." "Senator," along with "50 Ways to Lose Your Luggage," "Capitol Hill," and "Kiss This! (Hey IRS)" have also been featured here on The FuMP.
